Font mix
Four techniques for combining fonts by Hoefler & Frere Jones.
Manifest
I’m searching the web to find graphic design studios in Berlin. I stumbled upon the Edenspiekermann Manifesto, which I find simple and true. I could use something like that as well. This is what it says:
- We work for your customers. We may have to take their side at times.
- Challenge us. Complacency is the ennemy of great work.
- We don’t give answers. Unless we can explore your question.
- We are not suppliers. Partnerships give the best results.
- Talk to us. We thrive on feedback.
- Trust us. You hired us because we can do something you can not do.
- Pay us. Our work adds up to your bottom line, so invest in our future.
Acrobat Form Saving Problems
I came across a problem using PDF forms: users who only have Acrobat Reader could not save or send the filled form (only those using Acrobat Pro could). After searching and searching I stumbled upon the solution and I thought I’d let you know about it:
Ordinarily, Adobe Reader users can’t save filled-in copies of forms that they complete. However, you can extend rights to Reader users so they have the ability to do so. These extended rights also include the ability to add comments, use the Typewriter tool, and digitally sign the PDF.
Choose Advanced > Enable User Rights In Adobe Reader.
Read the instructions that appear, and then click Save Now.
These extended privileges are limited to the current PDF. When you create a different PDF form, you must perform this task again if you want to enable Reader users to save their own filled-in copies of that PDF.

Escape good design
Quelle tristesse ! Un gros chou pour Escape Studios.

Yellowism
